HOAS
HOAS, Helsinki Region Student Housing Foundation, has approximately 8,000 student apartments or dormitories, and approximately 16,000 students as tenants. Students of TKK are mostly placed in apartments in Otaniemi, Leppävaara, Kivenlahti or Kannelmäki (in Helsinki). HOAS offers accommodation also for foreign students who don't study in Finland but complete their training here.
The rent for shared apartments is 180–400 € per month, one-room apartments 300–550 € per month and 400–900 € per month for family apartments. The rent includes water, electricity, and an Internet connection.
To HOAS offices
If you have rented your apartment from HOAS, you have to pick up your keys from the local office. For most apartments in Helsinki (except Kannelmäki) the office is located in Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu 29, very near Kamppi center. For Kannelmäki, the office is in Kitarakuja 1. The easiest way of travelling to Kannelmäki is by train M from the railway station. For apartments in Espoo, the office is located in Leppävaara at Harakantie 7. The fastest way to Leppävaara is with local trains Y, S, U, L, E and A, which leave from the railway station.
