International associations
There are some active international associations operating within TKY. Some of these associations belong to an international organisation, some of them only organise practical training periods abroad. International associations support Finnish exchange or trainee students going abroad. By participating in the activities of the international associations you can network both with Finnish and foreign students.
AEGEE
AEGEE is a European interdisciplinary student organization that aims to promote mobility and co-operation among young people in Europe. You are welcome to join the activities of AEGEE-Helsinki. AEGEE offers summer courses, cultural exchanges and diverse events around the year - a chance to learn, make friends and visit new places. In Helsinki we also have social meetings, theme nights, cottage trips, and more!

AIESEC
AIESEC is the international organization to be in. We promote personal leadership development in a supportive atmosphere, give opportunities for hands-on experience in a dizzying variety of projects, and most importantly, socialize and have fun with students from leading universities here in Helsinki region, in Finland, and in 94 other countries! Since we do nearly everything in English anyway, students of all nationalities are more than welcome to join and learn what they can do both for themselves - and for the world.

BEST
Board of European Student of Technology(BEST)is a non-profit and non-political organization for students of technology all over the Europe.
CSSA-Espoo
Chinese students and scholars association (CSSA) serves mainly Chinese students and scholars in HUT. It is like a second home of them offering an active mailing list, forum and plenty of sports and party events.

ESN-TKY
ESN-TKY is part of European wide Erasmus Student Network. We organize events for international and international minded students in order to introduce the foreign students to Finnish culture and student life. The best and easiest way to receive information about the upcoming events and activities is to join the ESN-TKY mailing list at the web page. The activities include for example sauna evenings, sitsi parties and trips to Russia.
