Survival kit

TKY provides a Survival kit service for exchange students in the cooperation with recycling centre associations.

Survival kit is a package of basic kitchen equipment such as cutlery, pots, glasses and pans. SurvivalKit is still a new service and the kits will be distributed for 24 fastest exchange students for a deposit sum of 65 euros (you will get 55 euros back while returning the kit).

You can get the survival kit by paying the survival kit fee to the cashier at TKY secretariat (Otakaari 11). When paying, you have to show a receipt of paid membership fee, your ID and give your Finnish contact details. After paying you can go and get your kit at the Teekkari village recycling centre (Servin Maijan tie 6 D) Check the opening hours at kierratyskeskus.tky.fi

You can use the survival kit up to one year. The kit must be returned in time cleaned and in good condition. There will be a charge if some item is missing, broken or dirty. If the kit is not returned in time, no deposit will be paid.
