TKY

Facilities

The TKY rents out sauna, party and meeting facilities for a day at a time. Every facility has information and pictures on their own web pages.

Booking

Facilities are booked by the TKY telephone exchange (Otakaari 11, tel: +358 (0) 9 4681, [email protected], opening hours) Facilities must be booked personally, and the person who booked the facilities is responsible for the facilities for the duration of the time booked.

Associations close to the TKY are eligible to pre-book the facilities in late spring and late autumn in a special event called Tilakähmyt or facility hoardings. During the time between tilakähmyts, the bookings are made through the telephone exchange. Situation on booked facilities can be followed via an excel-file, which is usually updated once a week.

Paying

Payment information can be obtained from the telephone exchange, where the rent for the facilities can also be paid in cash. Facility keys are not given out before all the payments are made.

Keys

Keys to all facilities are available from 12 to 4 pm on the same day in return for payment or a receipt of a made payment. Keys should be picked up on Fridays for weekend bookings.

If you have forgotten to pick up the keys, you must call maintenance. Maintenance phone numbers can be found here.

Keys must be returned the next day by 12 o’clock with the facility’s inspection report to the telephone exchange.

Cancellations

Facility bookings must be cancelled in writing 14 days before the appointed day of use, otherwise the renters must pay the facility rent.

Sauna Warming

The telephone exchange must be notified of exceptional sauna warming times at least a week before the appointed time. If the sauna warming time is changed, a separate fee of € 10 is collected.

If you want to make the sauna warming time longer, extra hours or partial hours cost € 10.

Exceptions in Usage Times

Facilities can be booked also for day time. In this case the fees are negotiated with the Secretary of Organizational Affairs ([email protected]). 

You can apply for an overnight permission for the Servin Mökki from the Secretary of Organizational Affairs. It is advisable that the permission is applied for as the facility is being booked, but at least a week before the desired time of the event. The overnight permission for the Smökki can be applied for with this application form.

You can apply for an extension for other facilities also if you have an extremely good reason to do that. These are negotiated with the Secretary of Organizational Affairs ([email protected]).
