Values
The
activities of our Student Union are guided by clear values.
Continuity – Our Student Union knows and respects its history. Our unique
culture is maintained and developed constantly. In our community, the fast pace
of change in people in responsible positions is considered as a strength, but
we actively invest in continuity.
Transparency – We are courageously what we are. The Student Union
operates as transparently and democratically as possible. Our operations are
fair and honest. We are a reliable cooperation partner.
Communality – Encouraging and strong community is a good community to be
in. Individuals are safe to grow and develop in a community they feel to be
their own. Every teekkari has to have
an opportunity to belong to a community, little or large, where she/he can feel
at home.
Accomplishment – It is fun to do various things in the Student Union.
The willing are given an opportunity to act, experience and succeed. Failures
are also tolerated. We bravely aim at difficult or large issues and dare to
complete them.
Equality – In our community, everyone is equal. We do not discriminate
and we do not have special privileges. Equality contains mutual respect and appreciation.
