Organisation

The Student Union of the Helsinki University of Technology is an autonomous community formed by the students of the TKK. The most important part of the organisation are the members of the Student Union. The members comprise of all those students of Helsinki University of Technology which study engineering, architecture or landscape architecture, also known as teekkarit and arkkarit. Because the Student Union is a democratic entity, the greatest authority is wielded by the members of the Student Union. The authority is used in biennial representative council elections, where the Student Union’s highest decision making body is elected. The Board, the Secretariat, all the sections and committees are working for every teekkari, so do not be afraid of contacting them!
