Family apartment applicants
Applicants are placed in the current queue in application order, according to the following grading.
2 ROOMS + KITCHEN APPLICATION POINTS
1. TKY internal transfer from a two-room apartment to a two-room apartment +50
2. Families with children +20
3. Both applicants are technical students and already live in a TKY shared apartment/studio +10
4. Applicants who urgently need accommodation (e.g. those given notice to quit, a fixed-term contract (ends within two months) and applicants moving from outside the metropolitan area or its neighbouring municipalities) +5
5. Property altogether over 30,000 € -10
6. Monthly income altogether over 3,400 € -5
3 AND 4 ROOM APARTMENTS WITH KITCHEN
These are primarily meant for families with children. Applicants are placed in the queue in application order. Families with many children are always placed first in the queue. The application points form as follows:

Friends’ apartments
One can get a friends’ apartment (two rooms) from houses which have floor design suitable for living with a friend.
Friends’ apartments are only available if both applicants study at TKK and fill the requirements defined by the TKY housing guidelines. A joint contract is made which expires at the same time for both persons. There is no direct transfer from friends’ apartment to the bachelor village apartment.
Friends fill in only one application and they must specifically mention that the application is for a friends’ apartment.
Friends’ apartment applicants receive 0 application points.
