Waiting list regulations
Waiting lists follow the regulations set by the housing department.
1. Applications from outside the village
Applicants are placed on the waiting list according to the point
calculation table. Applicants with the same number of points are placed
on the waiting list in order of the date of application. New students
applying in July are given a so-called freshman point and the order of
new students with the same number of points is drawn by lot (please see
the points calculation table). New students are updated into the
waiting list at the beginning of August.
2. One-roomed and small two-roomed apartments (please see the list of apartments)
Only students already living in Student Union HUT housing are
entitled to one-roomed or small two-roomed apartments. When an
applicant has made an agreement for a Student Union HUT single room,
he/she is entitled to apply for a one-roomed or a small two-roomed
apartment. Applications are placed on the waiting list in order of the
date they were submitted.
3. Changing accommodation
Applicants seeking to change their accommodation (from a single
room to another single room or from a one-roomed apartment to another
one-roomed apartment) take precedence for their preferred
accommodation. Applicants without points at the top of the waiting list
for a single room are those seeking to change their accommodation.
